    Nutrition Program Support Officer

    • We are seeking a qualified and passionate Nutrition Program Officer to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nutrition programs. The successful candidate will work closely with beneficiaries, healthcare professionals, community stakeholders, and program teams to improve nutrition outcomes among vulnerable populations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and implement nutrition intervention programs and activities.
    • Conduct nutrition assessments, screenings, and beneficiary follow-up.
    • Deliver nutrition education and awareness sessions in communities.
    • Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes.
    • Monitor program performance and recommend improvements.
    • Prepare timely program reports and maintain accurate records.
    • Support food distribution and nutrition-sensitive projects.
    • Collaborate with health facilities, and partner organizations.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
    • Participate in field visits, community mobilization, and stakeholder engagements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics.
    • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in nutrition, public health, or community development programs.
    • Strong report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Experience with data collection and monitoring & evaluation tools.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel within Lagos and other project locations when required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
    • Experience working with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or development programs.
    • Knowledge of community nutrition and food security interventions.
