The Compliance Officer oversees and executes all aspects of regulatory compliance, ensure the company functions in a legal and ethical manner in all her businesses.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage an effective compliance program and procedures in line with the company’s businesses.
Help the organization have strong and effective compliance controls.
Establish reliable internal controls, and then ensure that they are followed in all branches of the company.
Spread awareness of policies, and promote the observation of practices and procedures designed to ensure compliance.
Evaluating business activities to assess compliance risk.
Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
Proactively auditing processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses.
Perform risk assessments to understand risk level, significance, and scope.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in a relevant field
Strong organizational skill
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary
