Lead external communications, strengthen brand positioning, grow media presence, and manage a knowledge and practitioner community (online and offline).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a communications strategy
Write press releases, stories, newsletters, and donor updates
Manage brand voice and media relationships
Secure media features, interviews, and speaking opportunities
Lead community engagement (events & virtual groups)
Oversee social media, blog, and newsletter content
Manage and mentor junior communications staff
Key Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5–7+ years in communications, PR, journalism, or similar
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Proven media relations and placement experience
Experience building and managing communities
Strategic, organised, and digitally savvy
Preferred:
Proficiency in Canva and Video editing is an added advantage
