Collection and Recovery Agent - Ogun at Altara Credit Ltd ("Altara”)

Job Summary

• We're seeking a skilled and experienced Collection and Recovery Agent to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting payments, negotiating payment plans, and recovering outstanding debts.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities

• Collect payments and resolve outstanding balances via phone or in-person visits
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes and queries
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments
• Identify and escalate potential fraud cases
• Meet and exceed monthly collection targets
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in collections and recovery
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
