The CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of fabric maintenance activities by ensuring the effective utilization of the CMMS.
This role involves coordinating activities done in the CMMS and ensuring compliance with industry CMMS best practices to enhance data integrity and reliability analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Populate all equipment, piping and structural asset maintenance activities correctly in the CMMS.
Carry out the planning of maintenance work orders using the CMMS.
Prioritize work orders and schedule effectively to minimize downtime.
Monitor and update job plans, spare parts inventory, and asset maintenance histories in the CMMS
Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMMS.
Provide insights for decision-making from the CMMS to improve maintenance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance teams on CMMS best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience across maintenance and CMMS administration in the oil & gas, manufacturing, or energy sector.
Proficiency in CMMS platforms such as SAP Plant Maintenance.
Familiarity with industry standards related to Maintenance and Reliability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Have been part of a full implementation of a CMMS (SAP)
Understanding of IT concepts related to CMMS implementation
Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Plant Maintenance is an added advantage
