Leads the cluster sales function and provide strategic leadership
Contributing and implementing a sales strategy to deliver NS & CO, market share in the cluster
Responsible for target achievement for all categories, channels and brands in the cluster
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budget for cluster; projecting expected sales volume and Net Sales for existing and new products
Determine the annual sales and marketing support required to achieve set objectives
Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and consumer driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales organization
Lead all sales plans development through KPIs derived from sales automation tools (ADA, Sales Force Automation & Geo tracking tools). Responsible for the security of all assigned properties.
Expand the company business in the cluster by attracting & signing off new business partners
Monitor and understand the competitive landscape and market trends in the cluster and advise Management on right course of action
Create strong relationships with key clients, Agents, Customers, Distributors and other stakeholders in the Cluster
Work with all internal stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer service
Serve as Management representative with different stakeholders in the assigned cluster
Build capabilities of team members through learning & development programmes, coaching & mentoring, accomplishments, project assignment and counselling
Setting personal development goals for team members to improve their skills and ensuring achievement of goals.
Monthly control of the cluster overhead charge and correction of deviations where needed
Dotted line responsibility for the Platform officers and transport supervisor
Job Qualification:
Sales background (min. 10 years experience)
Autonomy, drive and leadership
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to challenge others
Experienced channel strategy development
Excellent customer management competencies
Experienced RTM planning and distributor management
Experienced category growth spaces and selling story development
