Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing Telecommunications team. This role will play a pivotal part in the design, development, and implementation of our telecommunications infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles, with a specific expertise in 2D and 3D AutoCAD design.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D designs for telecoms infrastructure, including tower sites, conduit layouts, and fiber optic pathways.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine feasibility, identify potential challenges, and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, permitting, construction) to ensure project plans meet all technical requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including construction drawings, site plans, and as-built drawings.
• Analyze and interpret technical data, including maps, surveys, and engineering reports.
• Manage and oversee the work of contractors and vendors involved in civil engineering aspects of telecoms projects.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices for telecommunications infrastructure design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer, with a focus on telecommunications infrastructure a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD software, with proficiency in 2D and 3D design capabilities.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, foundation design, and surveying techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
