Job Summary

YSG Chicken Co. Nigeria Limited is seeking a competent, trustworthy, and results-driven Branch Supervisor to oversee daily retail outlet operations, manage sales activities, supervise staff, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain excellent customer service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure smooth business activities.
• Supervise sales attendants and monitor staff performance, punctuality, and discipline.
• Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of assigned branch sales targets.
• Monitor inventory, stock movement, and product availability to minimise losses and wastage.
• Ensure accurate daily sales records, payment reconciliation, and inventory reporting.
• Enforce strict compliance with company payment policies and financial procedures.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, product handling, and cold-chain management.
• Attend to customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report operational issues.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily sales, inventory, and operational reports.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND/HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in retail operations, sales supervision, or store management.
• Experience in FMCG, frozen foods, supermarkets, or food retailing is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and staff management skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, sales reconciliation, and basic accounting.
• Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of honesty, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and perform under pressure.
• Must reside close to the assigned branch or be willing to relocate.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required.
