    Church Administrator

    Key Responsibilities

    Administrative Oversight:

    • Manage church schedules, including services, meetings, events, and programs.
    • Maintain accurate records of membership, attendance, and church activities.
    • Handle correspondence, including emails, calls, and letters, ensuring timely responses.

    Financial Management:

    • Work with the finance team to prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.
    • Oversee tithes, offerings, and donations, ensuring proper accounting and reporting.
    • Maintain financial records and assist with audits as needed.

    Facilities and Resources Management:

    • Ensure the church premises are well-maintained, clean, and safe.
    • Coordinate repairs, renovations, and regular maintenance schedules.
    • Oversee the use of church facilities for events and activities.

    Volunteer Coordination:

    • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for various ministries.
    • Schedule and oversee volunteer activities, ensuring alignment with church goals.

    Event Planning and Execution:

    • Plan and coordinate church events such as conferences, outreach programs, and special services.
    • Collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure successful event execution.

    Communication and Public Relations:

    • Manage internal communication channels, including bulletins, newsletters, and announcements.
    • Update the church’s website and social media platforms with relevant information.
    • Serve as the point of contact for inquiries about the church’s activities and programs.

    Compliance and Governance:

    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain and update church policies and procedures.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in administration or a similar role; experience in church administration is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and church management software.
    • Financial acumen and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
