    Church Administrative Secretary / Personal Assistant

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and Spirit-filled Administrative Secretary/Personal Assistant to support the Senior Pastor in fulfilling the ministry’s vision and daily responsibilities.
    • The ideal candidate will be highly disciplined, discreet, and passionate about serving in a Christian environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Pastor.
    • Manage the Pastor’s schedule, appointments, and official correspondence.
    • Attend to church visitors and handle inquiries with excellent etiquette.
    • Prepare reports, minutes, memos, and documentation as required.
    • Coordinate church meetings, programs, and pastoral engagements.
    • Maintain orderly filing systems (digital and physical).
    • Assist in planning events, follow-ups, and ministry logistics.
    • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all matters.
    • Any other duties assigned by the Senior Pastor or church leadership.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / NCE in Business Administration, Secretariat Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
    • 1 - 2 years of administrative experience (church or NGO experience is an advantage).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer operations.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • High level of integrity, maturity, and confidentiality.
    • Must be a committed Christian with good interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Good record-keeping skills.
    • Ability to draft letters and official correspondence.
    • Strong people-relationship ability and emotional intelligence.
    • Social media or basic design skills (added advantage).
    • Calm, respectful, and service-oriented personality.

    Work Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday + Sunday services (Tuesdays exempted)
    • Flexibility for special church programs.
