Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee our company’s ongoing operations and procedures.
• As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, aligning strategic goals with execution, and ensuring efficiency across all departments.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, deep operational insight, and the ability to scale systems and teams in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and optimize daily operations across all departments, ensuring consistent execution of business strategies.
• Design and implement business operations, processes, and procedures that promote the company’s culture and vision.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute company-wide strategies and long-term plans.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing in alignment with company financial goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage and mentor department heads to ensure accountability, performance, and alignment with company goals.
• Identify and mitigate business risks and operational bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards across operations.
• Foster a performance-driven and inclusive work culture that attracts and retains top talent.
• Support expansion strategies and lead project execution for new business initiatives or operational territories.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field (MBA or relevant Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior operational role.
• Proven experience in managing diverse business functions and operational models.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be between the ages of 35 – 45 years.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian business landscape, particularly in Lagos or Port Harcourt.
