Chief Medical Director / CEO at Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina

Responsibilities

• The Chief Medical Director is the Head/Chief Executive of the Institution.
• He is accountable to the Board of Management and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
• iThe Chief Medical Director is charged with the responsibility of the execution of policies and matters affecting the day-to-day management of the Hospital.

Requirements
Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Candidate must be a Medical or Dental Practitioner registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with not less than Twelve (12) years post-graduation
• Candidate must possess a current practicing license from MDCN
• Candidate must be a Fellow of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College, or its equivalent, registered by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• Candidate must have been a Consultant for a minimum of Five (5) years
• Candidate must be medically fit (Attach evidence)
• Candidate must be of proven good character and integrity
• Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantage
• Administrative qualification and experience are added advantages
• Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage;
• Attraction of funded grants by individual candidate is an added advantage.

Salary and Allowance

• Salary and allowance will be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure for this category of officer.
