Chief Financial Officer at a Leading Company

GRADE LEVEL:        General Manager

REPORTING TO:      Managing Director  & Chief Executive Officer

JOB SUMMARY

• Setting the Company's strategic plan for growth and business objectives and preparation of the Company's annual and long-term financial strategies
• Ensuring availability of funds for the Company's operations, managing relationships with Financial Institutions and sourcing of funds at optimum prices and lowest risk
• Ensuring accurate preparation of the Company's Financial Statements, Budgets and Management Reports for review of performance
• Coordinating maintenance of adequate records of the Company's Financial transactions to show and explain the Company's transactions and financial positions
• Protecting the Company's margins and ensuring achievement of its Earnings objectives together with control of operational costs and reduction in Net Financing costs
• Optimisation of the Company's Working Capital and contributing to the realization of the Company's Net Working Capital improvement target
• Ensuring adequacy of Internal control systems and organizational efficiency to safeguard the company's properties, documents and records
• Monitoring and reviewing business practices and implement necessary improvements to minimize the Company’s tax liability, within limits allowed under the law
• Management of Corporate Security Services, developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures to safeguard the company's Assets in all company locations and facilities; protection of personnel on duty to achieve uninterrupted operational services.
• Oversight on all Information Technology activities concerning Infrastructure, Systems configuration, Installation and Maintenance (Hardware Support, Hardware Maintenance, Networking) in all Company Office facilities and Buildings and ensuring effectiveness of the Communication systems

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• B.Sc.  (1st or 2nd Class Upper) plus M. Sc. in Social Sciences or Management
• Qualified Accountant – FCA / ACA is mandatory
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting, Financial and General Management
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or supply chain services industry
