Campaign Motor Vehicle Operator (Driver) at Society for Family Health (SFH)

Job Profile:     

The MVO will be responsible for driving SFH official vehicles in a safe and convenient manner. In addition, will ensure that good vehicle preventive maintenance is adopted with accurate documentation of movement.

Job role: The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

• Driving vehicles in a professional, safe, and convenient manner.
• Filling of vehicle logbook accurately
• Ensure that all particulars of the vehicle are up to date,
• Strict compliance with Federal Road Safety rules and regulations, in terms of speed limit. traffic signs and laws.
• Ensure that vehicles and other items in the vehicles are always secured.
• Ensure that information concerning breakdown/fault with the vehicle is properly communicated to the appropriate authority.
• Adherence to the company's rules and regulations in vehicle operations.
• Understanding of defensive driving
• Must be able to read and write well enough to do a report.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate or evidence of driving in reputable organization for not less than 5 years.
• Must possess a valid driver's license of not less than 5 years of first issue date.
• Excellent understanding of the Highway Code and good understanding of the road network. particularly of the environment.
