We are currently in search of a highly motivated and focused Business Sales Associate to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and conversion, and should feel confident when interacting with customers.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in sales, and a passion for connecting with ambitious individuals . In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
The main responsibilities of this role include selling our products and services to potential customers, handling bookings and customer follow-ups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Interaction
- Engage with clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on travel destinations, accommodations, and activities.
- Create customized travel itineraries and offer recommendations to enhance clients' travel experiences.
Sales and Booking
- Achieve individual sales targets by promoting and selling travel packages, services, and products.
- Handle bookings, reservations, and transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Follow up with clients to confirm bookings, provide updates, and address any questions or concerns.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel planning process.
- Resolve client issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Market Research
- Stay informed about travel industry trends, destination updates, and new products.
- Monitor competitors' offerings and pricing to stay competitive in the market.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare reports and track performance metrics as required by the Sales Manager.
Required Skills
- Sales Skills: Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Travel Knowledge: Familiarity with popular travel destinations, travel industry trends, and booking systems. Experience in travel consultancy or agency roles is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Freshdesk, HubSpot) and travel/flight booking platforms. Experience with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address client concerns and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in booking processes and client interactions.
- Teamwork: Support team effort by actively collaborating and contributing to the company’s goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or travel-related roles.
- Certification in travel consulting or relevant industry certifications is advantageous.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing client interactions and tracking sales.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and platforms.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
