    Business Manager - Salon

    Overview:

    Responsible for overseeing the overall business operations and managing the administrative and financial aspects of the salon. Provide strategic direction, implement effective business strategies, and ensure the salon operates efficiently and profitably. The business manager collaborates with the salon owner, staff and external stakeholders to drive growth, enhance the salon's reputation, and deliver exceptional customer service.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement busines staretgies and plans aligned with the salon's goal and objectives. Conduct market research, analyze industry trends,, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
    • Manage the salon's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Monitior revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement startegies to improve financial performance.
    • Recruit with the support of HR, train, and manage salon staff, including hair stylists, beauticians, receptionists, and support staff. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to foster a positive work environment and optimize staff productivity.
    • Oversee day-to-day salon operations to ensure an efficient functioning. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance productivity, customer service, and overall salon efficiency.
    • Implement staretgies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Foster strong relationships with clients, address customer concerns, and implement customer feedback mechanisms,
    • Develop and execute marketing promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing clients existing clients. Utilize various channels, such as social media,, advertising, and partnerships, to increase salon visibility and drive business growth.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor product quality and pricing and ensure timely deliverty of salon supplies, equipment, and inventory.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, profitability, customer retension, and staff productivity, identify trends, challengs, and opportunities and implement strategies to improve performances.

    • Evolving team player requiring strong leadership and the ability to delegate

    • Finding smart solutios/work-around to critical situations

    Requirements:

    • BSc. in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • A deep understanding of the job role.
    • Excellent report writing abilities.
    • Proven ability to use innovative techniques to solve business problems.
    • Great interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to inspire the team.
    • A clear-cut passion for outstanding customer experience.
    • Strong communication and PR skills.
    • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Strategic and analytical thinking skills.

    Remuneration
    N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
