Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Manager to oversee and grow our transportation business in Abeokuta.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving profitability, and developing strategies to expand our transportation services within and beyond the city.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day transportation operations, including fleet management, driver schedules, and route planning.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, properly maintained, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue, attract new customers, and improve service delivery.
• Monitor business performance, prepare financial reports, and manage operating budgets effectively.
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to maintain a productive workforce.
• Implement safety and compliance protocols in line with FRSC and local transport regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Resolve operational issues promptly, including vehicle breakdowns, delays, or customer complaints.
• Oversee fuel usage, maintenance costs, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, partnerships, and diversification within the transport.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 1 - 2 years work experience.
