    Business Development Officer

    Job Description

    As a Business Development Officer, you will:

    • Support the development of strong, sustainable business relationships with key stakeholders including IOCs, DPR, NAPIMS, NNPC, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Assist in preparing technical and commercial pre-qualification documents and bid proposals.
    • Collaborate on business strategies and contribute to negotiations involving technical, commercial, and contractual terms.
    • Engage with clients to identify potential business opportunities and tailor solutions accordingly.
    • Help source, package, and submit bids on various platforms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Stay informed on market trends, project updates, and industry movements to drive business strategy.
    • Reactivate and strengthen relationships with dormant clients to generate new business opportunities.

    Candidate Profiles

    We’re hiring across two experience levels:

    Entry-Level Applicants

    • Must be a young female graduate (age 21–26 preferred).
    • Passionate about learning business development within the oil & gas sector.
    • Must be confident, eloquent, and presentable.
    • Adaptable and eager to grow with training and mentorship.

    Experienced Professionals

    • 1–3 years’ experience in Business Development, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
    • Good knowledge of upstream oil & gas operations and industry stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Proven record of managing client accounts and identifying business opportunities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical thinking and strong presentation ability.
    • Familiarity with the bidding process and client engagement.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
