    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • As a Business Development Officer, you will play a vital role in driving growth through marketing-led strategies, building strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships.
    • You will design and execute initiatives that expand BROOT’s impact and ensure our services reach the right audiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Market Research & Opportunity Analysis
    • Identify new business opportunities and emerging trends with a strong marketing focus.
    • Monitor the competitive landscape to inform growth strategies.
    • Client Acquisition & Partnership Building
    • Develop and implement client acquisition and retention strategies.
    • Engage potential clients via networking, outreach, and digital channels.
    • Identify, engage, and negotiate with potential partners to support business growth.

    Sales & Marketing Strategy:

    • Design and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to strengthen BROOT’s visibility.
    • Track and report on client engagement and sales metrics weekly.
    • Support the launch of new products or services through effective go-to-market strategies.

    Project Management & Reporting:

    • Manage business development projects end-to-end, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
    • Prepare reports on the effectiveness of business development and marketing efforts.

    Requirements
    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing (preferred).
    • Experience in a consulting environment is an added advantage.
    • 3+ years of experience in business development with a strong marketing background.

    Core Competencies:

    • Strong marketing knowledge and practical experience (essential).
    • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
    • Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
    • Project management and multitasking ability.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
    • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.
