    Business Development Officer (BDO)

    Overview

    The Business Development Officer (BDO) will be responsible for driving strategic growth and revenue for both Cluxmedia’s service offerings and Cluxmedia’s client products and services. This role focuses on building long-term revenue channels, high-value partnerships, and enterprise opportunities across multiple industries.

    The BDO will serve as a growth catalyst, opening doors, building alliances, and securing major deals that expand Cluxmedia’s market reach while supporting campaign-based client growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Growth & Revenue Development

    Promote and position:

    • Cluxmedia’s sales, marketing, and automation services
    • Client products and services across assigned industries
    • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels
    • Secure enterprise clients, white-label deals, and referral agreements
    • Research and validate new markets, verticals, and revenue opportunities
    • Build and maintain a high-value opportunity pipeline

    Strategic Sales & Partnerships

    • Pitch Cluxmedia and client solutions to high-level decision-makers
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and partnership terms
    • Close long-term revenue deals and strategic agreements
    • Work closely with leadership to shape company growth strategy
    • Support field and online sales teams with large or complex deals

    Requirements & Skills

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
    • Experience in marketing, tech, SaaS, or professional services is a plus
    • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and deliver measurable results

    Added Advantage (Not Mandatory):

    Professional certifications such as:

    • CIPM (Nigeria)
    • ICAN (Business/Commercial track)
    • MBA or Executive Business Certification
    • Sales or Business Development Certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Coursera, Google, LinkedIn Learning)
