UIUX Designer at Stella Maris High School

As an UI/UX designer you will create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric digital products. you will bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, handling end-to-end design processes—from conducting user research and wireframing to visual prototyping and developer handoff.

Role Overview

We are seeking an empathetic and highly skilled UI/UX Designer to design and shape intuitive, user-centric digital experiences. You will advocate for our users, translating complex business requirements into seamless, visually captivating, and accessible web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Strategy: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to understand user pain points and behaviours.
• Information Architecture: Build user personas, journey maps, and sitemaps to outline clear product navigation.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
• UI Design: Develop the visual look and feel, including crafting graphic UI elements like menus, widgets, color schemes, and typography.
• Usability Testing: Perform A/B testing and gather user feedback to iterate designs, refine user journeys, and troubleshoot usability issues.
• Collaboration & Hand-Off: Partner closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design integrity during product development.
