    Brand Compliance Specialist

    Key Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Leading the development and placement (to both external and internal audiences) of a coherent story for the Coronation group and its subsidiaries and more broadly as required. 
    • Setting brand policy, including brand architecture and positioning for the company. 
    • Providing brand naming, product naming, trademarks, and domain name standards. 
    • Governing brand trademarks and brand intellectual property aligned to agreements and regulatory requirements with support from legal advisors. 
    • Setting a brand strategy aligned to the organizational strategy and purpose. 
    • Developing and implementing the brand personality for the company. 
    • Defining the visual language for the company (including what we look like and sound like). 
    • Defining the Corporate identity for the company including the logo, symbol, name, and other brand assets. 
    • Designing and implementing world-class brand campaigns and brand experiences. 
    • Conceptualizing and executing brand campaigns including activations where required. 
    • Executing above-the-line over-arching brand campaigns. 
    • Setting the Marketing & Communications minimum standards for client and customer event experience based on the client segment and its associated value proposition. 
    • Setting the minimum standards to drive a consistent brand experience across touchpoints across the organization. 
    • Monitoring brand health and client engagement performance for the group as well as providing suggestions and remedial action where brand health is sub-optimal. 
    • Benchmarking and implementing naming conventions to align with the brand.
    • Contributing to the branding and naming decisions of innovations. 
    • Reviewing and evaluating marketing and communications projects for brand consistency and compliance with established guidelines, ensuring all elements adhere to the organization's standards. 
    • Verifying and processing invoices for Marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary requirements. 
    • Ensuring consistent brand representation, protecting brand integrity, and maintaining a positive brand image across all touchpoints and materials. 
    • Collaborating with the marketing and communications team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to brand compliance. 
    • Providing timely and effective communication reports on all media data. 

    Key Requirements 

    Education and Work Experience 

    • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • At least 5-7 years’ working experience in brand management and brand compliance in a reputable organization. 

    Skills and Competencies 

    Technical Competencies 

    • Expertise in Brand Compliance in the financial services and technology industries. 
    • Understanding of Content Management System (CMS) and basic web development skills which enables correct implementation of brand elements. 
    • Ability to develop training materials and guidelines for internal stakeholders to ensure that they understand and adhere to brand standards. 
    • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design tools to ensure compliance with Coronation’s brand standards. 
    • Understanding of digital assets management systems to effectively manage digital assets such as logos, images, and videos. 
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks on various brand assets, including printed materials, digital media, websites, and social media profiles. 
    • Familiarity with brand monitoring tools and techniques to track brand compliance across different channels, including social media, online advertisement, and third-party platforms. 
    • Ability to generate reports, analyze data, and provide insights to improve brand compliance strategies. 
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand compliance.

    Key Requirements 

    • Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint and Excel to organize, analyze, and report on all media data.
