    Branch Manager

    Location: Ibadan, Oyo

    Responsibilities
    Store Supervision/Operational Excellence:

    • Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and engaging customers on suggestive buying strategies.
    • Manage and motivate the team to increase sales and efficiency and ensure outlet operational excellence.
    • Maximize profitability and minimize overhead cost
    • Implement in-store promotional plans and events
    • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
    • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.

    Customer Service Management:

    • Respond promptly to customer complaints and comments.
    • Identify and resolve urgent issues
    • Create a welcoming ambiance for customers that enhance a remarkable shopping experience.
    • Promote and monitor customer engagement in every category in the store.

    Human Resource:

    • Conduct annual appraisals and quarterly performance reviews for all direct reports in conjunction with the human resource team.
    • Reward and discipline employees for outstanding and substandard performance respectively
    • Escalate underperforming team members to the HR team without delay.
    • Conduct training need analysis and organize training programs for all reporting line.
    • Conduct and oversee PEP talk for all staff before resumption, creating a platform for team meeting to discuss pressing issues and how to deploy immediate intervention.

    Market Awareness Intelligence:

    • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing.
    • Initiate changes to improve the business, such as revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 5 years of work experience.
