Job Summary

• We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and experienced Bartender to join our team at our Restaurant and Lounge. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, interacting with guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine
• Interact with guests, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glasses, utensils, and supplies
• Monitor and control inventory, including liquor, beer, and wine
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
• Make recommendations and upsell drinks to guests
• Participate in ongoing training and education to improve knowledge and skills

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a Bartender or in a related role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
• Knowledge of drink preparation, ingredients, and presentation
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or lounge environment
• Knowledge of wine and beer menus
• Multilingual skills
• OND is an advantage
