Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Take and serve beverage orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar counters, shelves, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of current bar promotions, events, and specials.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar before and after shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

• SSCE / OND or equivalent.
• Certification in Hospitality or Mixology is an added advantage.
• 2 - 3 years previous experience as a barman or bartender in a hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift moderate weights (e.g., beverage crates).
• Manual dexterity and coordination.
