    Assistant to the Managing Director

    Job Description:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Managing Director.
    • The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to our Managing Director, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives and critical decision-making.
    • This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the growth and sand success of our organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
    • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings and presentations.
    • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Managing Director.
    • Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Assist in project management tasks and follow up on action items as needed.
    • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, and maintaining office supplies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
    • Must have graduated with a minimum of Second Class Upper credit from a reputable university, and no earlier than 2019. Please note that candidates with lower qualification will not be considered.
    • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corp program.
    • 1 – 3 years proven experience in an administrative or executive support role.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
