Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Treasury is responsible for overseeing the company’s treasury operations, ensuring effective cash flow management, investment strategies, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. This role requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance, maintain liquidity, and manage banking relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities

Cash Flow and Liquidity Management

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Develop cash forecasting models and implement strategies for optimizing working capital.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, fund transfers, and reconciliations.

Investment and Risk Management

• Develop and execute investment strategies to optimize returns while managing risk.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company investment policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit treasury reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and recommend appropriate forex risk mitigation strategies.

Process Improvement and Technology Utilization

• Implement treasury management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to improve treasury-related processes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, investment, or financial planning.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ICAN, or ACCA are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and investment principles.
• Experience with treasury management systems and financial modeling tools

• Maintain relationships with banks, investment firms, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, external auditors, and rating agencies.
