    Art Director

    Job Summary

    • The Art Director will lead the creative concepting, visual direction, and design execution for events, experiential marketing, and brand campaigns. 
    • The role demands a high level of creativity, leadership, and an eye for design trends that resonate with modern audiences. 
    • The ideal candidate will bring concepts to life through strong visual storytelling while ensuring alignment with client objectives.

    Key Responsibilities
    Creative Direction & Concept Development:

    • Translate briefs into innovative and compelling visual narratives
    • Lead brainstorming sessions with designers, copywriters, and account leads
    • Develop event themes, brand campaigns, storyboards, and mood boards.

    Design Oversight & Supervision:

    • Guide internal and external creative teams through the design process
    • Ensure all visual assets (print, digital, environmental, stage, signage) meet brand guidelines and quality standards
    • Approve final concepts, layouts, and production-ready files.

    Collaboration & Strategy:

    • Work closely with event managers, clients, and production teams to ensure alignment between creative concepts and event logistics
    • Present creative ideas to clients and stakeholders confidently and clearly
    • Collaborate with 3D designers, fabricators, and multimedia teams on spatial and interactive designs.

    Project & Team Management:

    • Manage timelines for creative deliverables from ideation to execution
    • Provide feedback, mentorship, and direction to junior designers and freelancers
    • Ensure resource planning and creative output stay within timelines and budgets.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Design, or related fields.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in creative/art direction within the events, advertising, or experiential marketing industries
    • Strong portfolio showcasing event stage designs, branding campaigns, and visual storytelling
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and basic understanding of motion graphics or 3D rendering tools is a plus
    • Excellent understanding of spatial design, branding, and production processes.
