We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in the bread sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales operations within a specific geographic area, ensuring that sales targets are met, and promoting the company's bread products. You will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow the sales of bread products within the assigned region.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet regional sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new retail customers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
Conduct regular sales meetings with the team to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
Analyze sales data and provide reports on sales performance, growth opportunities, and challenges.
Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and stock management.
Oversee the training and development of the sales team in the area.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and standards.
Manage promotional activities and product displays to increase product visibility and sales.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the food and beverage or bread industry.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and data analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
