The Area Manager will also perform duties that include setting financial goals, establishing sales targets, working with upper management, and using various business finance principles, Strategy, and Execution to drive the growth of sales in the company.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Sales Manager, Store Managers, and staff to achieve better results and be more successful.
Maximize the sales of the stores.
Setting financial goals and sales targets
Ensure that the store's general and daily operations are conducted according to the company’s rules and regulations.
Take all steps necessary for having excellent store employees.
Ensure the lowest possible costs for all operations and procedures.
Working in cooperation with all other departments in order to let the company achieve better results and be more successful.
Achieve the highest possible productivity.
Analyze data daily to spot trends/opportunities and act upon them.
Provide regular updates to team members and management.
Regularly review stores and ensure documentation is followed.
Work with the product team to ensure strong coverage and reach of products.
Requirements:
5+ years’ cognate experience in retail management operations, sales, and P&L.
B.sc / H.ND in any related field from a reputable university
Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
Ability to reason and take decisions, especially in trying circumstances.
Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills
Must be analytical and comfortable reviewing data. Proficiency in Excel required
Must be motivated, organized, and determined
Must be results-driven, commercially aware, and have problem-solving abilities
Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, work with a plan, and work in a fast-paced environment
Sound management, communication, and negotiation skills.
