Architectural Project Manager at a Real Estate Firm

• Oversee Architectural projects from the conception stage right down through construction and eventual completion of the project
• Responsible for site selection and due diligence, securing zoning and entitlements, selecting project team members
• Making sure that project teams meet quality, schedule, contractual and budget goals
• Ensuring timely and cost effective completion of projects
• communicate and manage all issues and risks affecting the projects 
• Manage the detailed design, phase of the projects, enduring strict adherence to corporate specifications and attention to cost management
• Ensure the projects are in line with current health and safety laws and internal company requirements 
• Ensure that the projects are effectively handed over to the company from the contract with the completed documentation and 'in a right first time' manner
• Monitor general contractor and vendor performance during construction phase 
• Managing the bidding, negotiation and construction contract process
• Ensure that the projected expenditure is under constant review and any anticipated deviations are highted and controlled
• Ensure that all of the above are carried out in line with company values 

REQUIREMENTS

• BA / BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveyor, Real Estate development 
• Background in Quantity Surveying , Project management skills, strong numeric and analytical skills
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience 
• Applicant must be resident of Lagos and / or capable of working on the island
