The opportunity
The Advocacy & Youth Programme Intern is expected to provide quality support to of Plan International Nigeria’s initiatives aimed at empowering youth, especially girls, adolescent girls in particular, to become advocates for their rights, and provide them with necessary skills and knowledge. The Advocacy & Youth Programme Intern will be required to enhance and add value to Plan International’s works with the young people, especially girls, in Nigeria and to contribute to our efforts in effectively promoting youth advocacy and engagement. S/he is expected to contribute to all efforts at supporting the young people to learn new culture in organising, mobilisation and campaigning and, to enhance their skills to pick up issues of national importance to both female and male youth in the country.
