The Administrative Officer at Dios Dlite is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, procurement processes, and facility management.
The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, efficient inventory control, smooth facility operations, and proactive vendor management.
This position requires strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to inventory forecasting to maintain a zero out-of-stock situation.
Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors to drive cost savings.
Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and budget standards.
Forecast and plan procurement activities to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Oversee the daily administrative functions of the office.
Liaise with government parastatals such as NAFDAC, SON, LAWMA, Vehicle Licensing Office, Advertising Board, etc., to obtain required permits, licenses, certificates, and permissions.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures across procurement and administrative functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, administration, or operations management.
Strong negotiation skills and cost-saving strategy implementation.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and forecasting skills.
Ability to plan ahead, think strategically, and proactively resolve challenges.
Strong leadership skills to manage direct reports effectively.
Knowledge of facility management and compliance regulations.
