    Ad-Hoc (Adolescent and Youth Virtual Space) Staff

    Job Description

    • We seek applications from qualified persons for the Ad-Hoc (Adolescent and Youth Virtual Space) Staff position in a USAID funded OVC project: Integrated Child Health and Social Services Award, being implemented in Lagos, Edo and Kwara States.
    • The candidate will be based in Lagos and report to the Knowledge and Communications Officer with oversight from State Program Manager (SPM).

    Responsibilities

    • The Ad Hoc Staff will have experience and demonstrated understanding in working with technology deployment in HIV and OVC community-led organizations.
    • S/he will be responsible for managing digital virtual spaces, providing support and collaborating with ICHSSA-2 team, partner CBOS, Program Monitors, Facility/Community Case Managers, Adolescents enrolled on the project and consenting general population to deliver high quality and responsive health messaging products.
    • ICHSSA-2 digital virtual spaces will play an essential role in our delivery of timely high-quality health information, referral and support, as well as our engagement with Adolescents in line with USAID guidelines.

    Other roles include:

    • Champion the use of youth friendly virtual spaces working in close collaboration with AYP and linking them to youth friendly POC/Physical spaces including leveraging GEN-NAYP Campaign Have good and working knowledge of design thinking, user experience and digital virtual space platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, etc.
    • Design and conduct a survey on technology platforms mostly used and preferred by the Adolescents enrolled on the project
    • Develop, share and collate feedbacks on youth friendly content in relation to HIV, SGBV, SRHR, behavior change etc.
    • Build strong relationships, frequently interact, moderate discussion and respond to the request of Adolescents enrolled on the project through the digital virtual space platform adopted
    • Professional documentation and timely submission of activity reports, data and presentations • Support the strengthening of the capacity of Adolescents in the area of technology use and adoption
    • Collaborate with the KCO and SPM to pilot and scale a digital virtual space for Adolescents on the project

    Requirements

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in coordinating or actively participating in Adolescent and Youth Friendly Clubs or OTZ Clubs.
    • HND, Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, or digital design with a focus on technology, product development and deployment, adolescents, youth engagement or related field. Hands-on experience or certification in social media management, product development or management will be an added advantage.
