Account Officer at Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
• Support the finance manager with budget preparation and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, or in a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
