Account Officer at Bukka Hospitality Limited (Bukka Hut)

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. You will also play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Manage petty cash and other financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Core Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or HND in a related field.
• At least 2/3 years of work experience in accounting and finance.
• Must have experience using accounting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as Odoo or XERO.
• Systematic attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent numeracy and financial skills, with the ability to deliver best practices in financial management and produce accurate and timely financial information.
• Good interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient computer literacy, including the ability to use MS Office suite.
