    Account/Internal Control Officer

    Job Summary:

    The Account/Internal Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial records, implementing and monitoring internal controls, and supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with established internal controls.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Provide support during external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum of  1-2 years of experience in accounting, internal control, or audit.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
