Specialist, Financial & Operational Audit at T2 (Formerly 9Mobile)

Job Summary

• Carry out audit assignments and make adequaterecommendations based on findings that would positively impact the businessprocess.

Principal Functions

• Perform audit work incompliance with internal audit processes and procedures
• Coordinate team effortsto complete job on schedule, notify manager of any delays as soon as they areknown and ensure audit work and findings are adequately documented
• Ensure the audit teamactively involves the client in the audit process
• Establish an expertworking knowledge of auditing procedures and control techniques to meet auditobjectives
• Identify allsignificant control weaknesses and communicate these weaknesses to the clientappropriately
• Assess and recommendimprovements to audit processes, produce and communicate status of audit workwith fellow team members and managers relative to milestones, open issues, andclient acceptance
• Prepare an audit draft reportwhich effectively communicates the audit findings, in a timely manner
• Carryout other tasks as instructed by Manager, Financial and OperationalAudit.

Educational Requirements       

• First Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized University, preferably in Accounting, Finance

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

• Three (3) to Five (5) years workexperience
