Job Description/Summary

• We are currently recruiting for the role of a Sales and Marketing Officer for the bread bakery arm of the company.
• The Sales and Marketing Officer will be primarily responsible for establishing direct interaction with retail customers such as Store Managers, receiving personnel and other associates, developing strong relationships with them and proactively resolving problems and increase sales.

Responsibilities

• Call on assigned accounts and store management to maintain relationships and solve customer issues.
• Solicit new business within route territory and beyond.
• Partner with accounts to implement marketing promotions for mutual benefit.
• Order products assigned to accounts with optimal distribution.
• Analyze account sales data to achieve optimal distribution of product to achieve sales goals and minimize stale and related expenses.
• Partner with other sales representatives to create alignment in account chains.
• Contribute and participate as part of a sales team.
• Execution of promotions.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices and cash.
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing market share.
• Being a champion for change and innovation initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum of ND/B.Sc in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in selling and distributing bread.
• Previous experience in a bread bakery.
