Platting / Tray Set Assistant at Whytecleon

Responsibilities

• Tray set preparations and their loading into trolleys.
• Portioning foods according to customer specifications, including general tray set-up duties
• Ensure cleanliness of utensils, equipment and work area as you go
• Comply at all times with HACCP procedures, good hygiene and production practices.
• Record the handling time and temperatures of all meals plated/tray set at the beginning and end of the process
• Cover, label and store decanted products.
• Cling film, colour code and properly store all bulk items

Requirements
Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Position is in busy, non-smoking kitchen environment
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear,
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work with sharp knives and other objects, and walk.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, cold and hot conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 relevant experience in an airline catering or hospitality industry
• Minimum of O'Level or equivalent qualification will confer advantage.
• Basic computer skills desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
