    Logistics and Supply Head

    Key Responsibilities

    • ·Oversee the Continuous evaluation selection and purchase of specialised equipment for the Company’s various offerings from various suppliers globally.  .
    • The individual in charge will identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers based on the requirements of the business.
    • The individual will also be in charge of co-ordinating the timely importation (where applicable) and delivery of purchased items to where they are needed.
    • Analyze costs of equipments and systems to identify focus areas or opportunities for reduction;
    • Develop and implement Competitiveness plan in order to generate savings;
    • Identify Procurement/Suppliers Risks and develop and implement associated mitigation plans;
    • Ensure relevant governance is complied with, including Delegation Of Authority, Acquisition Log, Purchasing Summary Sheets, Purchase Vet process and  reviews;
    • Work with management to develop the Procurement Strategy for the organisation and ensure the strategy is in line with contractual requirements and communicated within the relevant units
    • Development of the Acquisition Plan to identify how the procurement strategy would be implemented across the organisation with Procurement governance;
    • Implementation of the Acquisition Management Process following Chorus guidelines;
    • Participate in formulating and implementing the Make/Team/Buy strategy for the Project;
    • Logistics planning and optimized cost distribution
    • Road transport contractors’ management
    • timely importation (where applicable) and delivery of purchased items to where they are needed.

    Expectations

    • 10 - 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain or logistics preferably at management level.
    • Experience of managing teams
    • Procurement personnel from banks with experience purchasing cash counting and sorting equipment/ATMs will be preferred
    • Experience in procurement of vehicles and spare parts
    • Knowledge of supply chain core processes and logistics business
    • Customer service
    • Knowledge of basic finance fundamentals
    • Good supervisory and people management skills
    • Organizing and planning skills
    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Negotiation skills
    • Good communication and influencing skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
