As a General Manager with LVPDC you are required to report to the Group Managing Director and will:

• Develop strategic plans for the development of low-budget housing by studying technological and financial opportunities and recommending objectives.
• Accomplish the company’s objectives by establishing financial plans, budgets, and results measurement strategies.
• Allocate resources, provide short and long term training solutions to property development staff, review progress and make mid-course corrections.
• Coordinate efforts by building government, investor, financier and community support and working with various internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Establish work flow processes and coordinate professional staff such as architects, consultants, property managers, contractors and other development team members.
• Work with the business development manager to identify property acquisition opportunities, develop services program, streamline funding options and produce viability plans.
• Oversee high-level negotiations.
• Provide periodic project development reports to the Board of Directors
• Represent the company as part of its public relations goals.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be expected to have the following qualifications:
• First degree from a reputable tertiary institution.
• Relevant professional qualifications from a recognized professional body.
• Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience, with at least 3 years in senior management.
