Responsibilities/Summary of Functions

• Prepare surface of hull area
• Overlay welding of the hull area
• Grind off slag after welding of each location
• Correct all welding defects
• Cut plate for overlay welding
• Carry out all workshop fabrication of pipes
• Carry out all sectional piping or structural replacements
• Carry out all welding and grinding in conformance with safety and quality standards
• Communicate and coordinate with the Company’s Project Managers and other team members to maintain consistent workflow and Client’s satisfaction
• Report all incidents, accidents and near misses to the HSE Coordinator
• Actively participate in safety meetings and tool box talks as required by Client
• Perform any other task that may be required

Requirements/Qualification

• Experience: 4 years and above
• Experience in Welding/Fabrication
• Minimum of OND
• IRATA Level 2 Certificate
• SAS & HUET or BOSIET
• Offshore Safety Permit (DPR)
