Product Manager at Petrok Oil and Gas

LOCATION: VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS, NIGERIA

Our client is a multinational retail chain organization specializing in household and consumer goods including cosmetics, stationery, toys, and kitchenware. It has been expanding globally and have opened more than 1,800 stores around the world.

Job Profile
The Product Manager is responsible and accountable for supply chain, quality control, inventory management and forecasting, and new product development in collaboration with the sales and marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing the marketplace and design product strategy based on product range
• Searching for and capitalizing on new product opportunities
• Manages positioning and branding for the product range
• Developing product launch programmes
• Managing new products projects from start to end
• Understanding the marketplace and customer needs in order to advice in product development
• Working closely with the sales and marketing departments to develop sales and marketing strategy
• Work collaboratively with Sales, R&D, Marketing and the Finance business units to forecast inventory requirements
