Job Description

• As the Channel Manager for Modern Trade, you will manage and build strong business relationships with all the key online stores/supermarket accounts under your portfolio.
• You will manage and oversee the profitability of your business by developing long-term and short-term sales goals, as well as channel strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Through your strong understanding of the market, you will identify growth opportunities and develop sales activities for your channel.
• Working closely with the product and trade marketing teams, you will oversee the performance of the accounts in terms of their category and shelf analysis, sales and promotional effectiveness.
• You will be part of a team whose performance measurement is based on achieving sales targets, trade promotion development and execution.

Candidate Requirements

• The ideal candidate has an excellent sales track record as well as effective sales, planning, leadership and people management experience within the modern trade (online stores/supermarkets) industry.
• Will be degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years of relevant online retail store/supermarket account management experience.
• Ability to handle presentations and facilitation of sales and direct marketing trainings
• Willing to travel from time to time and to embark on working transfer as the case maybe
