Description

• Play a leading and collaborative role within Project development, reporting to, and working closely with (particularly) the Project Manager.
• Establish and lead the Engineering function supporting the Project
• Be Technical Advisor, as relates to job holders core discipline, supporting Company's Corporate Engineering whenever resident in Lagos Office and so requested.
• Support other members of Project management team
• Interface with DPR and other Government officials on engineering matters

Main Job Functions

• Lead Project Engineering efforts
• Guide Project Engineering contractors
• Interface with Government officials on engineering matters
• Propose recruitment, retention, competency, development and demobilization of Project staff
• Support Project commissioning and operations readiness/ development

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer Status
• 20 plus years related experience leading to senior roles in Oil and Gas sector for past 10 years Experience in development execution of projects exceeding £100mm
• Experience in Oil and Gas field production and commissioning
• Knowledge of Oil Field contracts and contracting strategies Mentoring and coaching of others
