    Position Summary

    • Business writer working with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to develop client-centric proposals for KPMG

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Write and edit proposal documents that are focused and innovative
    • Work with client service professionals and subject matter experts in identifying benefits and value-add for clients
    • Manage the proposal process, organize kick-off meetings and deliver within the required timelines
    • Work with other National Sales and Marketing groups (i.e. Creative Services and Research) to reach proposal objectives in an efficient manner
    • Ensure that proposal documents meet RFP requirements and are KPMG Brand & Regulatory compliant
    • Provide direction to Creative Services on the development and integration of graphics throughout the production process
    • Oversee the production process, including soft copy for electronic transmission and/or printing
    • Assist in the preparation of clients/bidders meetings and oral presentation materials as required within proposal opportunities
    • Undertake internal team debriefs after a proposal submission and support the external debrief program

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum of a Second Class (Lower Degree)
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in proposals development.
    • A minimum of 5 credits in one sitting (Mathematics and English inclusive)
    • Strong planning and execution skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Business Writing Skills
    • Ability to liaise and interact with people at all levels of seniority within KPMG
    • Commitment to seeing projects through
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines and managing heavy workload
    • Research and analytical skills
    • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
    • Technology appreciation, including a working understanding of MS Office Suite especially: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Professional, disciplined and proactive
    • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
    • Confidence and pragmatism
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse teams
    • Strong relationship building and networking skills
    • Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities/targets
