Logistician Base Assistant at Solidarites International

Responsabilities and Tasks :

• Management of supplies:
• Update prices databases
• Implement purchases and control procedures, archive documents
• Negotiate prices and methods of delivery

Management of vehicle fleet:

• Draw the schedule
• Ensure the vehicle security and the documents needed for travelling

Management of equipment/facilities/telecommunication:

• Assist in installing and securing materials and monitor materials
• Organise training sessions
• Ensure installation and maintenance
• Management and monitoring of IT equipment:
• Ensure the maintenance and correct use of IT equipment

Management of supplies:

• Supervise the maintenance and securing of warehouses
• Support the logistics officer/Storekeeper in carrying out stock checks and physical inventories

Human resource management:

• Assist in the recruitment process and in evaluating the members of the logistical team
• Establish team schedules in conjunction with the logistics officer
• Ensure or assist with logistical training

III. Profile required and working conditions:

• Previous experience in relevant jobs will be appreciated
• Local language and English essential
• Strong IT skills (word, excel)
