Responsibilities/Requirements

• Supervise the Set up and execution of assigned engineering activities such as detail design verification and studies relevant to Steel Structures
• Assist subcontractors or assigned resources in the interpretation of the drawings and providing support
• Prepare design specifications.
• Verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field
• Develop studies and calculation notes for steel structures and structural steel buildings.
• Measure the progress of the works carried out
• Prepare MTO, BOQ, S.O.W. and technical specification for steel structure sub-contract.
• Prepare technical documentation for steel structure material requisition and assist procurement department in the technical evaluations.
• Monitor steel vendors to follow up engineering activities in order to minimize interface time.

Qualification and Experience

• A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
