Head Web Developer at RS Hunter Limited

Job Purpose

To actively drive the activities of the web development team and ensure the unit achieves its objectives by interpreting the expectations of client (layout and technology) with strict adherence to web development standard.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads team of web developers in the design, development, and implementation of Web-based applications
• Estimates the technical costs of projects for clients and project managers, confers with clients to identify requirements
• Assists in planning of resource/time allocations for current and projected development needs
• Provides assistance in diagnosing web development problems
• Performs coding and testing on complicated revisions to Web applications
• Determines clients desired outcomes in order to formulate the design of the system
• Provides project management regarding all technical aspects of implemented projects
• Proactively analyzes and reviews emerging technologies, changes in the Industry and the business functions of various clients
• Mentors new or junior staff members on business knowledge, system peculiarities, and complex technical issues

  Skills and Requirements

• Web design: HTML5 , XHTML, Java Script, CSS, Responsive Design, Motion UI
• Proficiency in the use of frameworks and tools like: Front end: Bootstrap, Foundation by ZURB, Semantic UI, Pure by Yahoo!, Ulkit by YOOtheme, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Macromedia flash, Action script, Perl, Adobe and other GUI design software
• Web design: HTML5 , XHTML, Java Script, CSS, Responsive Design, Motion UI
• ASP.NET, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET MVC, Django, Laravel, Meteor, Spring, Symfony, CodeIgniter

Experience

• 5 years web design + development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Candidate must be self-sufficient and have good English, Oral and Written Communications Skills
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized 4/5 year university or equivalent experience. B.Sc in Computer Science preferred
